The material passes through the kiln crossing sections having different temperatures; the dwelling of ceramic material at given temperatures for given time intervals causes irreversible chemical-physical changes in the material structure, called \u201cfiring\u201d. The temperature-time diagram is called \u201cfiring curve\u201d, while the time taken by the material to cross the kiln is called \u201ccycle\u201d. The firing is associated to the mechanical resistance and hardness increase of the ceramic product, making it suitable for the intended use.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The roller kilns configurations change depending on the features and requirements of the products.
